Terms of Service

Preliminary information only
ADU IQ provides an initial screening based on available public records and general ADU requirements. A result marked Promising, Needs Review, or Unlikely is not a legal opinion, permit, zoning verification, construction approval, or guarantee that an ADU can be designed or built.
The $200 reviewed report
The reviewed report includes a human review of the preliminary property information, property-specific notes, and recommended next actions. Payment is arranged after a request is received. Unless separately agreed in writing, the $200 report does not include a survey, architectural or engineering plans, legal advice, permit filing, government fees, inspections, construction, or project approval.
Government and professional decisions
Only the authority with jurisdiction may interpret its rules, approve plans, issue permits, and complete inspections. Licensed designers, engineers, surveyors, contractors, attorneys, and other professionals remain responsible for work within their fields.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate contact and property information and to independently confirm important decisions before spending money or beginning work. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access to the owner dashboard.
Availability and accuracy
Public records may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or incorrect. Rules and government practices may change. ADU IQ may correct or update results and may suspend the service for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons.
Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, ADU IQ is not responsible for decisions made solely from a preliminary screening or for indirect losses arising from unavailable, delayed, or inaccurate third-party information. Any separate paid professional or project-coordination service will be governed by its written agreement.
